GAIP at Rupanyup

Jenny and David Craker handed over their baby with love and are slowly coming to know it as a place of difference, as am I. The becoming is as gradual as it should be. Nothing too fast yet still resolutely on the path.

Vance Smith and Paul Roberts contributed significantly to helping establish a solid foundation for the space and their energy remains. Thanks to Jacko and Josh for a lively electrical jolt, Danny and his mates plumbing the depths. Paul Blackman's plant selections and spontaneous layout did not prepare for the clay that sprained hands and forearms for quite some time.

The floor and foundations now are solid.

Simon (Fisher) and Ren baptised the double room with a series of projections and micro-performances through June and July. Below zero nights - bracing !

I acknowledge that I live and work within, and am a temporary custodian of land that belongs to the Wotjobaluk people. I pay respect and homage to Wotjobaluk elders past and present on behalf of all GAIP participants. We also acknowledge and pay our respects to the original inhabitants of the lands we pass through during our performance collaborations and do our utmost to care for these places.
